Privacy Policy

At Raypath UK Shop, accessible from https://raypathuk.co.uk, protecting the privacy of our website visitors and customers is a priority. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  1. Who We Are

Raypath UK Shop is the data controller responsible for your personal data. We are an independent UK retailer of genuine Raypath products. This website is not the official Raypath International website.

General enquiries: info@raypathuk.co.uk

Order and customer support: orders@raypathuk.co.uk

  1. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information that is necessary to fulfil orders, manage user accounts and provide customer support.

Identity and contact data: name, billing address, delivery address, email address and phone number, provided when you create an account or place an order.

Order and transaction data: the products you buy, your order history and payment amounts.

Communication data: information you send us by email or through our contact forms.

Newsletter data: your email address, if you sign up to our newsletter.

Website usage data: how you use our website, such as the pages you visit and the device and browser you use. We only collect this through analytics cookies if you accept them (see Cookies below).

  1. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal information on the following legal grounds:

Contract: to fulfil your order, deliver to your UK address, process payment and send you order updates.

Legal obligation: to keep accounting, tax and reporting records required by UK law.

Legitimate interests: to answer your enquiries, run our business and understand how customers find our shop.

Consent: to send you our newsletter and to use analytics cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time, using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter or the cookie settings on our website.

  1. Payment Processing (Stripe)

All online card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Your payment details go directly to Stripe and are covered by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Stripe sends us confirmation details, such as the payment status and the last 4 digits of your card, so we can match payments to orders.

  1. Cookies

When you first visit our website, a cookie banner asks for your choice. We only set non-essential cookies if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings on our website.

Essential cookies: these remember your basket, keep checkout working, keep you logged in and store your cookie choice. The website cannot work without them, so they do not need your consent.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent): we use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use our website and to measure sales, so we can improve it. Google Analytics does not tell us who you are.

Order source: our shop records how a customer reached our website (for example from a search engine or Instagram) and attaches it to their order. This helps us understand which channels bring customers. It is stored on our own website and is not shared.

  1. Content From Other Websites

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and may show content from our Instagram account. When this happens, Google or Instagram (Meta) receive your IP address so they can deliver the content to your browser.

  1. Who We Share Data With

We never sell or rent your personal data. We only share it with service providers we need to run our business:

Delivery partners: Royal Mail or other UK couriers, only to deliver your order.

Payment processor: Stripe, to process payments.

Analytics: Google, only if you accept analytics cookies.

Hosting: our website hosting provider.

  1. International Transfers

Some of these providers, such as Google and Stripe, may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer is protected by the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or approved contract terms.

  1. How Long We Keep Your Data

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including legal, accounting and reporting requirements. Purchase records are kept for 6 years after the transaction, as UK accounting rules require. If you unsubscribe from our newsletter, we remove your email address from our mailing list.

  1. Your Rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your data when we no longer need it
  • ask us to restrict how we use your data
  • object to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests
  • ask for your data in a format you can take to another company
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent

To use any of these rights, email us at info@raypathuk.co.uk. We will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to help first, so please contact us before you do.

  1. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a new date.
